Stay Green: Lost Lodge's Environmental Role

Mike and I believe that we all share in the responsibility to care for the planet. Help us keep our Lake clean while you are here (find out how). We have some simple policies in place that use less of our natural resources that we hope our guests will appreciate.

To reduce the amount of water and detergent going into the groundwater we ask that our guests hang and re-use towels. We provide an initial set up that includes linens and towels, but do not exchange daily. There is a coin operated washer and dryer on site .

We are trying to go green in our cleaning practices and have begun to use Shaklee natural cleaners whenever possible. You will find their natural hand soap on the bath sink, let us know how you like it!

There are large recycle bins at the office for paper, cardboard, and plastic. A basket is provided at each cabin for aluminum. We appreciate those guests who participate in this totally volunteer program!
